Last week, Anonymous hackers modified the Boston police department’s website by replacing the homepage with the video for KRS-1 classic: “Sound of Da Police.” (Watch it above). In response, the cops made their very own YouTube clip. (Watch it below). Read more »

FDA Now Recommends What KRS-One Warned About Two Decades Ago

2010: “The U.S. Food and Drug Administration will recommend new limits on antibiotics use in livestock, including that the drugs only be used to cure or prevent disease.”1990: KRS-One, “Twenty-one different drugs are pumped, Into the cow in one big lump…” Read more »

You’ll have to ignore the irony of one-hit MIMS being included in a track entitled, “How To Be A Emcee,” but whatever, KRS and Redman rip this shit. |Nah Right|

KRS-One, Flip-Flopper

Before the presidential election, Hip Hop’s most illuminated emcee, KRS-One, discussed how he wasn’t a big fan of the political process, but with the ascension of Obama, he was gonna do the unthinkable, vote: “I’m not a voter at all. But this year I gotta vote for Barack. I think all these guys are the Illuminati — straight up. I’m gonna cast my vote for this member of the Illuminati.” Read more »

Anti-Illuminati Rapper Supporting Illuminati Candidate

Despite Barack Obama’s presidential coronation by way of the king-making Bilderberg group, he’s got the support of Hip Hop luminary KRS-One. The emcee who has a long history of not voting is changing his tune for this year’s election, even if it means installing a guy who probably wears a cloak and drinks baby blood with other world leaders, telling Vibe: “I’m not a voter at all. But this year I gotta vote for Barack. I think all these guys are the Illuminati — straight up. I’m gonna cast my vote for this member of the Illuminati.” |JournalOnline|

KRS Helps End the Weak

End of the Weak is the longest running, underground Hip Hop showcase in the game, but this past Sunday was especially momentous with the Blastmaster KRS-One rocking the sound set. Accompanied by some freestyles from Vice Verses and Big Zoo, the Teacha electrified the crowd, plus the MCs competing to appear on a track with him. Once KRS makes up his mind, EOW will announce a winner, in the meantime press play and watch what you missed.

The Blastmaster Talks 9/11

Here’s a clip of KRS-One at SMT Studios’ Now or Never 2008 benefit discussing how reprehensible it is for the city not to take care of first responders and rescue workers who risked their health—many their lives—during the clean-up of the 9/11 attack. He also talks about how proud he was to be in Loose Change II, a very successful and controversial conspiramentary that offered alternative theories for the attacks on the World Trade Center. When asked if there’s a consensus in Hip Hop on what really happened, the Teacha said he won’t speak for everyone, but did offer an estimation, “I would say 80% of us believe that was some stupid twistedness, like however you put it ’9/11 was an inside job.’” He goes on and shouts out Jadakiss for outright accusing Bush of knocking down the towers. Also, if you have footage of KRS and are wondering if you need to get in touch with him to legally clear it for your videos, you don’t, he doesn’t mind being used for the promotion of the truth. |911Blogger|
