American Apparel overlord Dov Charney kept his word, releasing crowds of American Apparel employees onto the streets for May Day, armed with bright yellow “Legalize LA” signs and rocking t-shirts from what had to be every color in the catalog. Perfectly branded, they marched for immigration reform and made quite a visual presence. It’s almost like having a personal army of paid protesters.
