Skating in Circles

Skateboarder Anthony Pappalardo attempts the challenge of riding the “Circle Board” around New York in this video by William Strobeck. As you’ll see, the art contraption is a potentially life-ending ride for anyone but it’s creator, Mark Gonzales, seen popping over curbs in the final clip. The nine-board construction is currently on display at Gonzales’ solo show, “Round n’ Round,” through November 28th at Franklin Parrasch Gallery, 20 West 57th Street 7th floor. Read more »
