Condé Nast Overcharges for NYC Subway Map

It might be great to some that designer Massimo Vignelli is updating the NYC Subway Map after 36 years—on August 9, 1972 his official redesign described by the Daily News as a “follow-the-yellow-brick-road” approach was released to the public—but $299 is an expensive proposition for a subway map even if it is limited and signed by Vignelli himself. The “art print” measures 36×45 inches and is being released in editions of 500. All proceeds go to Green Worker Cooperatives—ah, an Earth Week tie-in—a nonprofit that is “dedicated to creating worker-owned and environmentally sound cooperatives in the South Bronx.” It’s available through the Condé Nast e-store. |TheWorldsBestEver|
