Audi Promotes New ‘Diesel’ With ‘Clean’ Graffiti

There’s no form of graffiti that can’t and won’t be co-opted. As part of their new ad campaign, Audi used “reverse graffiti,” a method perfected by artists like MOOSE, to promote their new “TDI clean diesel” campaign in New York City, leaving residents with a series of branded, half-cleaned sidewalks. Moose’s ‘Reverse Graffiti’ Looks Clean

Hailing from the UK Paul “Moose” Curtis has been stunning British authorities for the past few years with his unique style of “reverse graffiti,” the process by which artists strategically clean grimy surfaces to create their artwork. This process has been perfected by Moose as demonstrated in the above video of him tagging cleaning San Francisco’s Broadway Tunnel. Shot by Doug Pray, it has a cheerful environmental message and looks cool too.
