South Park’s Last Supper
This is Ron English‘s festive own contribution to the South Park tribute art show that he’s curating at Opera Gallery in NYC for next week. Sacrilege is the shit now, so English went with a biblical Last Supper theme sprawled over a very productive-looking Towelie. The characters are nightmarish and humanoid, like the Kenny when English killed him earlier. Seriously. Freaky.
In support of South Park’s censored Mohammed episode and creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, Seattle artist Molly Norris devised an ‘Everybody Draw Mohammed Day’ and set a date: May 20th. The radical, NY-based Muslims that hope the creators of South Park die a horrible death for dressing up Mohammad in a bear suit, says Triscuits-loving hackers managed to redirect traffic from their website (which is still down) to a website showing one of the most offensive images of the Prophet that’s currently available. A bunch of crazy Muslims who run some crazy Muslim website are upset over a recent South Park episode where the Prophet Muhammad is depicted wearing a bear suit and so Revolutionmuslim.com posted the following about the show’s creators: “We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. South Park Cuts Kanye’s Ego Trip Short
South Park spoofed Kanye West last night, featuring among other hilarious things, the self-loving rapper coming out as a “gay fish” to his ridiculously dressed entourage. But Yeezy isn’t mad, just hurt a little. The episode is forcing him to reflect on his “CRAZY EGO” and now he’s even vowing to not be such a “HUGE DOUCHE” anymore.
