Dutch design group Trapped in Suburbia has just released an interactive poster that doubles as a musical instrument. Sound Poster 1.0 is apparently the first in a series of “analogue meets digital experiments,” and was created using a touch-responsive “conductive paint” that allows you to create different sounds by moving your hand over the poster’s various abstract geometric shapes.
While the subsequent aural result of all that groping isn’t exactly a sublime symphony, Sound Poster 1.0 would make for a great dorm room icebreaker. Watch the bad boy in action above.
