Get an “Arrested Development” Refresher With this Diagram of In-Jokes

May 15, 2013 | Andy Cush

If you’re like me, you’re both stoked for the premiere of Arrested Development season three this month and secretly a little worried that you’ll miss out on what’s sure to be a barrage of intertextuality and inside jokes. I mean, the show went off the air seven years ago, and unless you’re one of those people that’s rewatched it into infinity since then (and I realize that a lot of you probably are) chances are you need a little brushing up on the finer details of “hop-ons” and “light treason.”

Thankfully, there’s “Recurring Developments,” a diagram of the references and in-jokes in each of the show’s episodes. Click a joke to see every episode in which it’s referenced and click an episode to see every joke it contains. Easy! I’m not sure whether to be appreciative of or freaked out by how insanely comprehensive this thing is. Via.
