Subway Commuters In Very, Very, Very Slow Motion

January 10, 2014 | Marina Galperina

Here’s a mesmerizing video by Adam Magyar who shot commuters waiting for the train at 42nd Street Grand Central station in slow motion. This is an excerpt of Stainless. The original footage is nearly 11 minutes. The backdrop sounds like the rattle of a rushing train, slowed down. You can see hair flips frozen in motion. You can see people blink. You can see them mid-laugh. You can see them not amused with the adjacent laugh. It’s fascinating and eerie.
