Here Are the Pro-Weed Ads Airing in New York

New York’s state Assembly approved a medical cannabis bill for the fifth time since 2007 this week, but state Senate leadership under Republican Dean Skelos and Democrat Governor Cuomo have historically been opposed to any such legislation. To urge them to reconsider, the Marijuana Policy Act is running two pro-weed television ads in New York, starting today. The first features a psychiatrist whose wife has Parkinson’s disease; the second features a mother whose son suffers from siezures due to a brain stem injury. Watch them both below.
