100 People Died In Car-Related Accidents In NYC In 2014 So Far

Jose Duran, the truck driver who died yesterday after a dislodged manhole cover crashed through his windshield in the Bronx, was the 100th victim of traffic incidents, according to tallies kept by the WNYC. Their stats count half of the victims killed to be pedestrian. Five were bicyclists.
