At around 5:30 this morning, a man driving a stolen box truck crashed into a city bus at Seventh Avenue and 14th Street, killing William Pena, the bus driver, and injuring four others, including the driver of the truck. Reports are coming in of a ferry accident at a downtown dock this morning. According to NBC News, the Sea Streak Ferry, which carries commuters from New Jersey, slammed into Pier 11 at South Street and Gouverneur Lane, injuring at least 17 people.
