Aphex Twin dropped his first new track in 13 years on YouTube today. You can listen below. Maybe more notably than anything it features a lot of vocals, which is kind of rare for him. If they are actual words, they’re mangled or unintelligible.
This comes on the heels of his launching a blimp over London and covering NYC sidewalks in Graffiti of his logo on August 16th.
Images of the really beautiful packaging were released on September 2nd. That packaging has the typical Aphex humor, printing all of the manufacturing and promo costs related to the album. Similarly, the YouTube video thumbnail features statistics related to his YouTube usage.
