New York-based artist Leslie Thornton‘s new video installation Luna is more than just an immersive, three-channeled, kaleidoscopic spectacle. It’s a new form of digital storytelling, spanning the history of Coney Island from 1900 to some time in the not-too-distant future. In lieu of actors and dialogue, Luna stars the iconic Parachute Jump, whose gradual metamorphosis is witnessed through suggestive shifts in appearance and audio.
