Abdellatif Kechiche’s Blue Is the Warmest Color(La vie d’Adele) is a 15-year-old Adèle and her relationship with art school student Emma. Twitch Film is calling it “one of the most shockingly explicit features to cross the pond in quite some time” and “one of the best films of the year.” It’s also three hours long, in French and based on a graphic novel. Blue Is the Warmest Color is playing at the 51st New York Film Festival, kicking off in a week at the Lincoln center.
