Gubernatorial debate champ and human caricature Jimmy McMillian has reached the big time. He was lampooned to near perfection by Kenan Thompson in a performance that included a moving new campaign promise: “Breakfast, lunch, and dinner” for all! Read more »
Did you watch Saturday Night Live? Of course you didn’t, so here’s what you missed. There was mostly a bunch of unfunny skits and then the Weekend Update with Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler and guest appearances by both Governor Patersons.
Saturday Night Live alumni Tina Fey helped make the perpetually unfunny show funny this weekend by returning to play vice presidential silver medalist, Sarah Palin, and she pretty much nailed it, down to the leather biker jacket ensemble.
As you’ve probably heard, Sarah Palin signed on to become a “Fox News contributor” this week, so she’s apparently making the rounds of Fox’s “fair and balanced” programming to promote her unique brand of moronic conservatism. Read more »
If you watched Saturday Night Live over the weekend but didn’t watch NBC’s football pregame show, you missed the funniest moment of the show hosted by Charles Barley because it didn’t air during the actual SNL broadcast. Read more »

Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live opened it’s show with a sketch featuring Fred Armisen and his utterly God-awful Barack Obama impersonation. Now, while Armisen’s impression of Obama was actually shittier than usual (Seriously, is he even trying anymore?!), the material written for the sketch by SNL’s writers was kinda funny and a bit thought-provoking. So, what do you think? Is Barack Obama a do-nothing president? Read more »
As you may have heard by now, Saturday Night Live pissed off a lot of people with a skit that poked fun at Governor Paterson’s blindness. Had it been funny, they might have gotten away with it, but unfortunately, like most of their Tina Fey-less performances, it came off kind of flat. But where the entertainment industry failed, the media succeeded, creating more humorous headlines than even the SNL writers could envision.
Will Ferrell Mixes It Up With Tina Fey On Thursday Night Live
Before Will Ferrell made strings of shitty movies he was a comedian and a frequent fixture on Saturday Night Live. Last night, that funnyman reprised his role as President Bush and made an appearance along with Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin on the special Thursday edition of the show. He offered the Alaskan cleric some strategy advice and gave his full and wholehearted endorsement of John McCain—repeatedly.
Saturday Night Live has been redeeming itself as of late and is actually starting to be funny again. The “King of New York” Christopher Walken hosted this past weekend and this “Meet the Family” skit was frighteningly scary. Although there was no cowbell involved, it was like watching a perverse, Walken-version of Being John Malkovich.
