L.E.S. Is Getting Fixed Up

Located just eight blocks from Trackstar, a new fixed gear bike boutique called Chari & Co. is opening. The bike shop, located at 175 Stanton St. opens this Sunday. That now brings the number of track bike only shops in NYC up to three with King Kog holding down Williamsburg. |RazorApple|

‘I Slay New York’

Riding through the streets of NYC on a bike can be the equivalent of battling the Kraken. To commemorate that daily mythological-like battle through the city’s rough patches of pavement, fixed gear only shop Trackstar released this ‘I slay New York everyday’ tee ($24) designed by Dan Bones. Also released was their 2004 “Basic Tee” ($25) or as the description reads, “This is our throw back to when our company was started.” They’ve also got these slightly ironic, “taxi-cab inspired” black and white checkered messengers bags ($175), limited to 20 pieces. |Trackstar|
