In honor of Prada’s new fragrance, Candy L’Eau, Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola have teamed up to create this quirky, darling short filmmercial.
French ultra babe Lea Seydoux stars as Candy, personifying the product with her faux naïveté and cutesy-chic pastel dresses as she frolics around Paris with two dapper best friends who have fallen madly in love with her. Reminiscent of Truffaut’s Jules et Jim and Godard’s Bande à part, Anderson and Coppola sure have the whole French-New-Wave-love-triangle thing down to a tee. C’est magnifique; cha-ching!
