Multi-media artist Hunter Jonakin — maker of our favorite video game Jeff Koons Must Die!!! — is working on a new project. He’s foraying into the realm of performance art. This isn’t art meant to sell a gallery. It’s art meant for you — the audience. Many of these clever performances are deeply rooted in trolling the “art world.”
For a small fee of $35 you will then be permitted to choose from the selection of ten performances such as:
MS Paint Drawing Restraint, After Matthew Barney in which the artist will wear five layers of clothing, a blanket, and gloves all while attempting to draw a portrait of Matthew Barney in Microsoft Paint.
Peanut Butter Jelly Time/ Don’t Hate, Masticate in which the artist will eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while continuously viewing an image of Double Mona Lisa, After Warhol, by Vic Muniz.
4’33” Adjusted for Decreased Attention Span (45″)’ in which the artist will perform John Cage’s 4’33” composition yet it has been shortened to one-sixth of its original length in an attempt to not lose the viewers attention span.
