First Fully 3D-Printed Gun Now Available for Download, Fired on Video

Defense Distributed, the company that has made a name for itself creating 3D-printed rifle parts and hosting them online, claims to have created the world’s first fully 3D-printed gun, and has already made the design available for download. The handgun, dubbed the Liberator, has 16 parts, 15 of which are made of plastic and were printed in a Stratasys Dimension SST (the 16th, a non-functional part designed to make the gun detectable by a metal detector, for compliance with the with the Undetectable Firearms Act, is metal).
