According to Bowery Boogie, “a fairly large neighborhood brawl” erupted on the Lower East Side earlier this week “near the intersection of Rutgers and Madison Streets.” What’s particularly odd about the fight is the casual nature by which the crowd goes about giggling, shouting and then, exchanging blows with each other.
There’s also quite a bizarre moment from the person shooting the footage who can be heard saying, “I’m the best fucking cameraman there is.” Not shooting portrait you’re not. There’s no explanation as to what started the fight, but the weather most likely played the biggest part.
