Thurston Moore played at the Stone on NYE, and now he’s doing a residency. He plays Friday, Saturday, Sunday… with guests, etc. (Manhattan, $10)

IFC Center is screening a 10th anniversary re-mastered edition of Los Angeles Plays Itself for a short run. (Manhattan, $13.50)
Come to Listening Session: Mike Kelley’s Music at MoMA PS1’s Print Shop for selections from artist Mike Kelley’s musical oeuvre, from his Detroit-based noise band Destroy All Monsters to unreleased material. Also, this way you might still be able to get tickets for Throbbing Gristle’s Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni playing at MoMA PS1’s VW Dome later that night. And the exhibit is fucking amazing. (Long Island City, 1pm, $10)
From director Liliana Cavani (The Night Porter), The Year of the Cannibals (1969) is screening at the Spectacle, which is probably the best little place to watch a “loose adaptation of Antigone set in a near-future Milan,” rebel bodies rotting in the streets, etc. (Brooklyn, 5pm, $5)
