If you’re lucky enough to be a resident of Colorado, Washington, or any of the myriad states with legal medical cannabis, you may have difficulty buying your weed with a credit card. Because it’s still illegal federally, many banks and credit cards companies refuse to process purchases of the plant.
At least one Washington dispensary is bucking the cash-only trend, however, by selling weed for bitcoin. Kouchlock Productions, a Spokane herb outlet, began accepting the digital currency this week. It isn’t the only web-friendly move Kouchlock is making, either: they’re offering a free joint to anyone who shares this Facebook post, too.
