EO1, a venture working in sleek technology for displaying internet art, has announced a program for artists to develop digital works specifically intended for the device.
Artists selected for the residency will receive their own EO1, a $500 stipend for their work, and will get to hang out with Electric Objects head of development Jacob Bijani. They will be chosen by a panel that includes Art F City‘s Paddy Johnson. You don’t have much time left to submit — the deadline is July 27th at midnight. Apply for the residency here. Artists working in internet-based media might also want to check out Rhizome’s $10,000 “no strings attached” grant.
