A screwdriver-wielding would-be thief struck out when a Dunkin’ Donuts cashier chased him out of the store with a baseball bat. The incident happened at an East Harlem Dunkin’ Donuts at 1:30 AM on March 11, and proved that Imtiaj Ahmed Belal is not someone to fuck with. DNAInfo has video from the store’s security camera.
Belal told DNAinfo that he has never been in a fight or played baseball, but experience was no match for intimidation in this case.
Belal, who came to New York from Bangladesh 8 months ago, said that he would like to make crime-fighting a regular thing. “I want to try to enter the NYPD,” he told DNAinfo. “The police here are so helpful. When I called they came right away and they call me whenever they have an update.”
