Kelvin Smith, who the New York Post calls a “career Bronx drug criminal,” was arrested Saturday morning when he was caught trying to board a US Airways flight to somewhere in the Caribbean with 18 pounds of weed, 2.8 ounces of crack, and 3 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms in his carry-on luggage.
“This just shows you how stupid criminals can be,” a law-enforcement source told the Post. “You would have thought that a man of his experience would have known how this works.” By “how this works,” I assume this source means not send a huge quantity of smelly contraband through a security check. Also, it’s unclear if that’s Kelvin Smith’s mugshot from Saturday, but if it is, wow. That would explain a lot about why he got caught. He looks like he was hanging out on Willie Nelson’s tour bus, you feel me?
He looks very high, I mean.
