In the near future, Staten Island is getting a giant ferris wheel, but that’s not all. According to the Associated Press, developers have planned a special attraction that’s sure to attract droves of New Yorkers to the exiled, homogeneous borough:
A subway-themed thrill ride is being planned for the site of Staten Island’s upcoming Ferris wheel.
The “Time Train” will simulate a ride in a subway car through a fictitious tunnel below the harbor.
If there’s one thing New Yorkers are sorely missing, it’s the experience of what it’s like to ride the subway.
