Russian Bears Are Stealing Jet Fuel
to Get High, True Story!

April 9, 2013 | Marina Galperina

Russian brown bears are noble wild beasts, when not forced to ride motorcycles in the circus. Also, when they’re not huffing empty aviation fuel barrels.

These bears are high. Theses bears are really, really high.

The bears of Kronotsky Nature Reserve were drawn in by the scent of gasoline and now, look at that bear. Look at him roll the barrel away, back to where he can dig a hole in the ground and after sufficient sniffing, lump himself into said hole and pass out. Because the bear is really high.

Photographer Igor Shpilenok spent months with these particular gang of bears and says they like getting high so much, they stalk helicopters.
