And the city’s official Ebola treatment center is… Manhattan’s Bellevue Hospital! The city’s 10 other public hospitals sigh in relief.
The New York Times reports that Bellevue has prepared four isolated, single-bed rooms for any upcoming confirmed or high-probability infection cases, as well as a separate blood sample testing facility on the premises. The staff is prepping vigorously, which is good to know since two of the three confirmed cases of Ebola in Dallas are the health professionals who handled the first one.
