Walking by the alley at Crosby and Jersey Streets in Soho earlier today, it might have seemed like a ton of brand new graffiti just went up, but upon closer inspection, everything is fake, including the dead body and NYPD detectives inspecting it.
The make believe crime scene is part of the set for a TV show called Forever, and features tags by non-existent graffiti writers such as SWOOF (LOL), all of which are wheat-pasted onto the walls, presumably to give the otherwise fully-gentrified location some edge.
