New York One, Time Warner’s 24-hour cable news channel, has kept a pulse on major events in the city since 1992. Over the years, the programs on the local channel have become a junket for national audiences, too, offering a look into the city’s daily machinations that go on to change the nation, and even the world. In that spirit, ANIMAL has created a supercut that illustrates NY1’s cultural relevance, with both fictitious and actual anchors appearing in 10 movies like Iron Man 3, Last Day on Earth, and The Amazing Spider Man 2. When the world’s about to end or a monster’s about to attack, NY1’s Pat Kiernan will soothe you. Or at least, he’ll keep you informed.
