Revved up for the 2012 elections? Is listening to the latest vicious nonsensical soundbites from the Republican debates making you angry? Well, here’s something Ron English sent us: Barack Obama as the Hulk. Rargh!!! You can’t buy it. It’s not a toy. You can’t put it on your bedside to pray to it like a robust plasticine shrine idol, wishing that the prez would bust out with renewed vigor and balls to defeat whichever aging Elephant he’ll be up against come election time. This is a new sculpture to be used in later work, open to your interpretation. Catchy visual, isn’t it? Kind of like Barabraham Lincobama. Boom. (Click to enlarge)

Comedy Central tried to “censor” two of Ron English’s sensuous Kenny paintings at the South Park tribute art opening at Opera Gallery last night by hanging them downstairs near the coat rack, according to Ron’s wife Tarssa. Ironically, the network just happened to film the show testimonials in front of one. Will Kenny Boob get blurred when the videos run on Comedy Central’s website? Also, young Mars English sold his first painting I’m Not Fat, I’m Big Boned for $600. “Ron is a proud dad!” said Tarssa. “South Park,” Mar 27 – Apr 10, Opera Gallery, NYC
South Park’s Last Supper
This is Ron English‘s festive own contribution to the South Park tribute art show that he’s curating at Opera Gallery in NYC for next week. Sacrilege is the shit now, so English went with a biblical Last Supper theme sprawled over a very productive-looking Towelie. The characters are nightmarish and humanoid, like the Kenny when English killed him earlier. Seriously. Freaky.
Ron English Remixes Anitabortion Billboard

Popagandist and fine artist with street cred Ron English sent us his suggestion for replacing the now infamous and disassembled ad targeting black women who love abortions via this altered image. I wonder how this one would poll in Soho.
Ron English Killed Kenny
ANIMAL asked Ron English why he went to Southpark and killed Kenny and he said, “I hate Kenny because he is poor and flammable; also setting yourself on fire is quite trendy lately.” English will round up his fifteen favorite artists and “attempt to offend the sensibilities of Matt Stone and Trey Parker” for the fifteenth anniversary of South Park celebration with the Opera Gallery. “Matt and Trey will be in attendance. Fire extinguishers will be prohibited.”
