The amount of street art in Shoreditch is palpable. It’s all over, creating an almost Disney-like atmosphere as tourists of all ages walk the streets with their smart phones in hand, snapping photos, even if they have no idea who exactly they’re shooting. A lot of the work continually going up in the East London neighborhood is done with permission, creating a friction between street artists and more traditional graffiti writers who have no qualms about ragging the former (pictured above).
