Man Rappels Down Brooklyn Bridge, Gets Away With It

July 5, 2013 | Andy Cush

What did you do for 4th of July? Fireworks? Barbecue? Too much video games? Whatever you did, you didn’t hold a candle to one man, who, in a dazzling display of freedom, independence, and the American spirit, rappelled down the side of the Brooklyn Bridge and didn’t even get caught by the cops.

The Police are trying to find the anonymous man, who used netting and hose to drop down, and landed on the roof of an NYPD repair shop in DUMBO, but fortunately, they’re treating the case as what it almost certainly is: a stunt, and nothing more nefarious than that.
