Speedy Ortiz, Krill, and Infinity Girl are playing Brooklyn Night Bazaar to celebrate the release of Speedy’s great new EP Real Hair. (6pm, free, Brooklyn)

Celebrate William S. Burroughs’ 100th birthday at Cornelia Street Cafe with discussions and tribute readings. (6pm, $8, Manhattan)

Day two of the weekend-long showcase for the indie label Don Giovanni happens at Music House of Williamsburg, with Nude Beach, Upset, and Shellshag. (7pm, $18, Brooklyn)

Come to the release party of ANIMAL ally Jane Chardiet’s zine “High on Hunger.” (9pm, Free, Brooklyn)

Pictureplane is shooting a video about a hyper neo-conservative corporate dystopia and you can be rebels by escaping to a cyber reality via highly illegal synthetic implants. Also, he needs “two people to wear this epic masks and leather jackets to serve as these dark cop reptilian overlords.” Featuring sets and performances from Pictureplane, DJ Dog Dick and Lil Internet.
