Real-Time Bus Tracking Coming to Brooklyn, Queens

February 24, 2014 | Andy Cush

MTA Bus Time is great. If your line of choice has it and you’ve got a phone, you can know exactly when a bus will arrive at your stop, rather than having to deal with the transit authority’s sometimes unreliable static schedule. Now, the program — which already covers Staten Island, Manhattan, and the Bronx — will expand to include all Brooklyn and Queens routes. According to the MTA, every city bus has already GPS installed and ready to go, and the expansion will roll out March 9. If you’ve never used Bus Time, take a look here.
