Went to Francofest thought this is going to be James Franco reenacting 40 minutes of explicit gay S&M sex cut out of Cruising, but it’s really a 60-minute meta-documentary of James Franco trying to reenact 40 minutes of explicit gay S&M sex cut out of Cruising AND IT WAS VERY FUCKING GOOD WTF (ﾉﾟ0ﾟ)ﾉ~~

How you gonna beat on heterobro Franco for exploiting gay culture… when the whole film is about the ethics of heterobro Franco exploiting gay culture (meta!) while trying to reenact heterobro director of Cruising exploiting gay culture back in the ’70s (meta!) and thrusting Franco’s lead heterebro actor into a clusterfuck of un-simulated S&M sex to parallel the heterobro undercover cop Al Pacino played in Cruising that was thurst into a clusterfuck of simulated S&M sex to investigate some stupid murder plot? (meta!) Not without probs but that “I have been skullfucked by heteronormativity” monologue is ｡♥ precious ♥｡.

Some guys suck cock. Get the fuck over it, assholes. And also, Interior. Leather Bar. co-director Travis Mathews actually makes wonderful films/gay pornography and they showed a short XXX one at IFC before the screening. And then, we watched the actual film about making film that Mathews and Franco made together and it was very sweet and everyone got their feels all out flapping around, swinging with their hard complexes about what they and people do to other people and what some other people think about all that AND IT WAS A BIG ORGY OF FEELS and some thinks too and then when it finished I needed, like, four cigarettes.
