A gray and white cat turned himself in on his own recognizance to the 34th Precinct in Washington Heights yesterday, DNAinfo reports. Officers took to Twitter to try to find his owner after the cat waltzed into the building like he owns the place.
“This cat walked into the 34 Pct today. Officer Andrea DiNella would like to know if anyone is missing him #uptown,” the 34th Precinct tweeted:

Of all the places to walk into, this cat chose a police station. If the cat isn’t reconnected with its owner, we imagine the dog from the 88th precinct in Brooklyn will be transferred to keep newly minted Officer Pawcifer some company.
