“Good Ol’ Rudeboys” Mixtape

May 23, 2013 | ANIMAL

Here’s that “Good Ol’ Rudeboys” mixtape we were talking about. As you’ll hear, ANIMAL took a rock-n-roll mix and gave it a dancehall-reggae treatment.

(Shout out to Love & Logic who helped make the mix.)

To celebrate this auditory achievement, we’re throwing a listening party along with hosts KNIFEHEAD and CASCOS at Ore Bar in Williamsburg (277 Graham Avenue) tonight from 7-11PM. White Pike will be serving complimentary white whiskey drinks and there will be 3$ beer specials. The first 100 people to attend this evening’s hullabaloo will get one of these cassette tape-looking USB wafers with the mix on it — free.

TRACKLIST: “Down on the Corner,” CCR  –  “Highway to Hell,” AC/DC  –  “Black Betty,” Ram Jam  – “Another One Bites the Dust,” Queen – “Gloria,” Them – “Magic Carpet Ride,” Steppenwolf – “American Woman,” The Guess Who – “N.I.B.” Black Sabbath – “When the Levee Breaks,” Led Zeppelin – “Baba O’Riley,” The Who – “Tom Sawyer,” Rush – “Sweet Emotion,” Aerosmith – “Werewolves of London,” Warren Zevon – “Sweet Home Alabama,” Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Take the Money and Run,” Steve MIller – “It’s Alright,” Traveling Wilburys – “Sympathy for the Devil,” Rolling Stones
