Zoom In: Macro Street Salt

The salt pellets routinely used for melting snow on New York sidewalks and roads look really picturesque in macro. Before the storm hit last night, I documented the various crystals in action using the DSLR I hacked with the Pentax 25mm 1.4 TV lens that’s usually found in 1″ CCTV security cameras.
