The Russian Drones Are Coming

January 15, 2014 | Marina Galperina

Here are some photos of Russian military doing things with their drones, in a completely unposed matter, despite that second slide looking like a Wes Anderson still. Russia’s Ministry of Defense put them up on their website, with a glowing article boasting about their currently-Kolomna-based Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, 30 years old and 180 military personnel strong.

Ah, the future of Russian warfare. There was something in the news about that last year, no? Welcome to the training center. And the center of posing inquisitively next to some hardware being fiddled by an attractive female soldier-comrade. (Images: Russian Ministry of Defense)
