A Statistical Analysis of America’s Film Critics

To get a better sense of which movie crits are worth trusting, the people at Vocativ did a quantitative analysis of the scores they’ve given the 200 top-grossing films of the past 10 years. At the top of the chart are the critics who are inclined towards fawning, at the bottom are those who, in the modern parlance, might be termed “haters.” In the middle we have the even-keeled people.

Of course, there’s also the possibility that the middle critics are just afraid to express a strong opinion about anything. Read more of the methodology here.
